Keep Cheltenham Safe

Back in April, we were invited to submit three poster concepts focused on Keeping Cheltenham Safe. The brief was simple, one design would focus on key workers, the other on keep your distance, and the third around staying home. We were delighted to rise to the challenge and submitted two concepts in a bid to do our part. The first concept was chosen and printed and rolled out across the town.
The first concept was called The Birds.
The concept used birds as a metaphor to push the Keep Cheltenham Safe narrative in a kitsch, quirky, and evocative but contemporary style. The approach created intrigue and stand out across all three posters. The posters worked as a campaign and individually and were a departure from convention.
The second concept was called Dwell Upon.
Bold, striking, clean, and contemporary. The concept used a simplistic approach playing on the notion in a subliminal way that the recipient should ‘dwell’ on the message by staying in their dwellings! A simplified icon of abode was used across all three posters to create tie-in and synergy creating a campaign theme.
It's tough times. We realise this is a Darwinian event in both business and in people's personal lives. The change that was happening before COVID19 is now accelerating at a rapid rate. The economy will be put under enormous strain in the coming months with acquisitions and mergers taking place in the 4th quarter. From this economic, political and environmental turmoil comes opportunity and positive change across the globe.
